My Approach
I believe that the therapeutic relationship— the way we collaborate—is crucial for achieving positive outcomes. I strive to cultivate a partnership grounded in trust, honesty, and mutual respect. My approach is strengths-based, focusing on your unique abilities, and I aim to work at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Working with Children, Adolescents and Adults
As a dedicated Psychologist and Registered Play Therapist - Supervisor, I am passionate about helping children and families navigate emotional challenges through the transformative power of play. I specialise in creating a safe and supportive environment where children can express themselves freely. My approach combines evidence-based techniques with a deep understanding of each child's unique experiences, allowing me to tailor therapy to their specific needs. I believe that play is a vital language for children, enabling them to process their emotions, develop coping strategies, and build resilience. By fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship, I empower young clients to explore their feelings and enhance their emotional well-being, ultimately guiding them toward a brighter, more fulfilling future.
As a compassionate psychologist, I am committed to helping individuals navigate life’s complexities and challenges. With a focus on fostering resilience and personal growth, I utilise a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to meet each client’s unique needs. Whether addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship dynamics, or self-esteem, I create a safe, non-judgmental space for open dialogue and exploration. I believe in the power of collaboration, empowering my clients to develop effective coping strategies and gain deeper insights into their thoughts and behaviours. By guiding adolescents and adults on their journey toward emotional well-being, I aim to facilitate meaningful change and help them lead more fulfilling lives.
